Artifact: Grasps Project Source: EDU222 and EDU223 Instructor (if applicable): Dr.Theresa Overall and Dan Ryder Introduction to the Standard Standard: Students use digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively, including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others. Indicator: b. Communicate information and ideas effectively to multiple audiences using a variety of media and formats Interpretation: Students will use multiple forms of media in order to make sure their thoughts and ideas come across. Introduction to the Artifact: In order to present at ACTEM I had to create a GRASPS project that related to my lesson plan. Rationale: The GRASPS project is a fun, hands-on, interactive assessment I designed for students to do within my English class. It is a different kind of project and allows kids to express their creativity and for me to assess them. The project includes a visual aspect, written aspect, and a presentation. This allows for students to excel in multiple aspects of the project. So they have multiple chances in order to communicate their ideas and thoughts. Artifact: Grasps (Stage 2)
