Indicator: 3 (c) Collaborates with learners and colleagues to develop shared values and expectations for respectful interactions, rigorous academic discussions, and individual and group responsibility for quality work. Interpretation: Educators work together in order to form an equal and safe environment both for themselves and for their students. Introduction to the Artifact In my EDU222 class we worked together in order to come up with these class norms. Rationale: As a class we worked together in order to come up with these class norms. Over the period of one class we worked together and came up with different ideas on what would make each of us, as students and educators, feel safe within all of our classes in this Practicum block. We debated and narrowed them down to the four below in order to create a safe and respectful learning environment for the whole class. This will also allow us to excel as students and as future educators. As a teacher this is an activity that I will be doing with each of my classes in order to make my future students feel safe within my classroom. Artifact:
